ZOOM H6, FEATURE PACKED AND EASY TO USE
In terms of portable digital recorders you would be hard pushed to find a better value, better specified product for the money. From recording live music, film and and broadcasting, the Zoom H6 Hand Recorder is hard to beat. It works as a modular system. The interchangeable input capsules can be exchanged around. Up to four tracks can be recorded at once. The Zoom has a big, bright LCD display. It has been angled for easier viewing. A range of different cards be recorded directly onto. These include SD, SDHC and SDXC up to 128 GB. Multitrack to stereo mixdown is also capable with the Zoom H6. A metronome and chromatic tuner are great practising and recording tools. As is the loop function. It also includes USB that serves a number of functions. It can either be used to transfer data to a computer or it turns the Zoom H6 into a USB interface.
DIGITAL MULTI TRACK RECORDER INPUTS AND OUTPUTS
The Zoom H6 Handy Recorder is supplied with two different microphone modules. The X/Y microphone provides excellent, high quality stereo recording. This mic allows for super wide stereo sound. The microphone on the X/Y module can be switched between ninety and one hundred and twenty degrees. This give the Zoom H6 even more versatility. The MS Microphone module or Mid Side offers a different sound. A great microphone for using in film and video the width of the stereo image can be tweaked. Inside the metal mesh design there are actually two separate microphones. Mid and side mics. This is a great recording technique to use when you need to add in some sound from the room.
ZOOM H6 IS EXPANDABLE WITH OPTIONAL EXTRAS
As well as the two included microphones, the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder can be expanded. As an option you can fit a shotgun mic. Also, the Zoom H6 can be expanded with an XLR module. Using the optional EXH-6 Dual XLR/TRS combo capsule expands the number of inputs to six. It is worth noting though that the EXH-6 does not support phantom power. With the optional HS-1 hot show mount the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder can be attached to a video recorder. It then becomes an external microphone. An APH-6 Accessory Pack also expands the features of this neat digital multitrack recorder.
